Suddenly she grew quiet, her body now a statue as she could see a pair of bright red eyes in the far distance. Her mouth quivered, with only a soft “shhh” escaping her lips.
“Yes, you do Veronica. Stop fighting it, you’re so close. So close to finally getting rid of all that pain. Just look at you, you’ve been through so much already. You just need to take that final step. Won’t you take that final step, I’ll go with you and make it all go away.

Maribel was hesitant, she didn’t like to come to this daycare anymore, it used to be her favorite place but now it just felt hollow. She used to love it so much because of all the fun she would have and the fact that she would get to see all her friends, but now just the thought of this place made her stomach turn.
